Thorpe Park

27th August

As the summer draws to a close we were contacted by the Chelmsford Partnership and asked to choose a selection of our students to receive a reward for working hard all summer.

The young people who had regularly attended summer workshops, shown a good attitude and worked hard were invited to Thorpe Park for the day with the Team Kinetix coaches.

It was a great end to the summer projects and showed all those involved that a positive attitude has its rewards.

19th August

Today was another exciting day for Team Kinetix and our students.
Kinetix coaches Brad & Thanda spent the day with a select group of Parkour students filming with a BBC film crew for the BBC1 show "Live 'N' Deadly".

The show features our young practitioners training in the gym as well as outdoors in both the built environment and natural environment.

Hopefully it will be a very positive piece on safe training and progression.

Thanks to the Woodland Trust for the use of Swan Wood in Essex, as well as Riverside Ice & Leisure for letting us use their facilities.

Swan Housing Funday

13th August

After a couple of superb arena displays, the Kinetix Acrobatic Display Team have been asked to perform the Arena Acrobatic act at a community funday for Swan Housing.

The display went really well and the Swan Housing management were excellent hosts. Unfortunately the second display was rained off by monsoon-like weather.

Hopefully we'll be able to show them what we're capable of at the next Swan Housing event in September.

Maldon Carnival

Straight after we finished up at the Harlow Urban Games the team jumped in the big red Kinetix Van and rushed over to perform at the Maldon Carnival.
After the success of our acrobatic arena display at the 999 Funday, Team Kinetix were invited to perform in the main arena for this carnival.

The Team Kinetix Acrobatic Display Team got in one fantastic display before weather stopped play briefly. The guys then managed to get another quick display in before the heavens opened.

Despite the weather feedback was great from the organisers and crowds alike.

I can see us having a busy season next year with arena displays!
