Luton Summer Festival

31st July 2010

Team Kinetix have been invited back to perform at the annual Luton Summer Festival this year.

Once again the coaches and performers put on a spectacular Parkour and Acrobatic show followed by free Parkour workshops for all ages.

The weather stayed dry despite threatening clouds and the response to both performances and workshops was very positive.

Parkour Workshops in Burnham

Team Kinetix Coaches Brad Wendes and Thanda Mutero ran Parkour classes for local young people at the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre in Burnham-on-Crouch.

The day was arranged by Maldon District Council to provide positive activities for local young people.

SX Urban Games

25th July 2010

Today kicked off the first of the SX Urban Games events. This event was held in Central Park, Chelmsford with Team Kinetix taking over the event with our massive Parkour structure.
Team Kinetix ran Parkour, Free Running and Acrobatic workshops throughout the day.

As the first of the SX Urban Games we were happy with the weather, audience and number of our supporters that showed up to cheer on the main team and our students.

SKYFEST

18th July 2010

This weekend Team Kinetix Free Runners, Acrobats and Power Bockers have been performing in London at Skyfest.

The guys performed 3 shows per day to a very appreciative audience and even hooked up with the Cheerleading girls from Pulse Promotions to put on a really big show.

Today sees Brad Wendes taking on another acting role to be featured in a viral advert for showme.tv, the new online video site to showcase your film-making skills and crazy exploits.

Brad is to play a leotard-wearing character who is clueless, but desperate to get noticed by the online community.

Filmed and edited by Adam Lieber it's set to be a very funny piece.

Melbourne Athletic Funday

11th July 2010

Team Kinetix are out in force again today at the Melbourne Athletic Funday in Essex. The team will be performing Parkour and Free Running demonstrations throughout the day and also putting on a special show featuring some of our up and coming talent in the main arena.

This will be the second performance that our young participants have ever done, and also to a much bigger audience than before.

Welcome Sasha

10th July 2010

From tomorrow one of our Saturday class regulars will be working with us for 2 weeks.
Sasha Harris from Hylands School will be on placement for his work experience, everyone at our regular classes will get to meet Sasha and see how he's getting on.

As part of our commitment to positive futures for young people Team kinetix have signed up with Trident to provide an alternative placement for students on Work Experience.

Today Brad Wendes and Suzi Appleton are off to South Oxney for another day of Parkour PE at Greenfields Primary School.

The Team Kinetix coaches will be running Parkour PE lessons for all year groups all day.

Meadgate Funday

4th July 2010

Today was the Meadgate Funday in Chelmsford with Team Kinetix Parkour coaches Suzi Appleton and Harry Murden running free workshops all afternoon.
God fun was had by all and a big shout out must go to some of our regular participants Liam Pilcher, Nathan Pilcher, Connor Faulkner, Brandon Parsons, Rebecca Murden and Sasha Harris who stepped up and put on a superb Parkour and Free Running demonstration for the crowds - their first public performance!
Well done guys, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of you in the future!

Big Dance Goes East

4th July 2010

Today Team Kinetix Performers and coaches Brad Wendes, Thanda Mutero and Barry Haggis will be in St Albans City Centre as part of the 'Big Dance Goes East' event being run by Dance Digital.
