Chesham Leisure Centre

Another regular class starts this evening at Chesham Leisure Centre in Buckinghamshire. Team Kinetix coaches Harry Murden and Thanda Mutero will be teaching Parkour & Free Running every Thursday evening at the centre.

Manshead School

29^th October 2010

Today Team Kinetix Coaches Brad Wendes and Harry Murden will be running an all-day workshop at the Manshead School in Bedfordshire. The sessions are open to all local residents so come on down!

Burnham Classes

28^th October 2010

The Team Kinetix coaching team will be running Free Running classes all day at the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre in Burnham-on-Crouch. The morning will be for under 12’s with the afternoon open to over 12’s.

More Half Term Classes

Half Term is getting busier this time around. The Parkour and Free Running coaches will be running drop-in workshops today at Meadgate Parish Hall in Chelmsford, Melbourne Althletic Centre in Chelmsford and Blackwater Leisure Centre in Maldon.

Another busy half term ahead for Team Kinetix. The Free Running coaching team will be at Riverside Ice & Leisure in Chelmsford on Monday & Tuesday this week running daytime Free Running sessions.

Alexander's School of Dance & Theatre

1st September

We had a great meeting today with Nicky Alexander who runs Alexander's School of Dance & Theatre in Essex.

Team Kinetix coaches Brad Wendes and Suzi Appleton will be running a selection of new classes at the school after October Half Term.

ENO Know The Show

26th August

After our professional consultancy work and choreography for the English National Opera, we were invited to run workshops and present a short demonstration of 'Action Theatre' at the Know The Show event.

Team Kinetix coaches Brad Wendes and Suzi Appleton went along to the event in the heart of Camden to take an introductory workshop in stunts and stage combat.

At the end of the day all the young people involved showed off their skills to adult theatre-goers and industry professionals.

The day was a massive success and we look forward to working with ENO again next season.

Luton Summer Festival

31st July 2010

Team Kinetix have been invited back to perform at the annual Luton Summer Festival this year.

Once again the coaches and performers put on a spectacular Parkour and Acrobatic show followed by free Parkour workshops for all ages.

The weather stayed dry despite threatening clouds and the response to both performances and workshops was very positive.

Parkour Workshops in Burnham

27th July 2010

Team Kinetix Coaches Brad Wendes and Thanda Mutero ran Parkour classes for local young people at the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre in Burnham-on-Crouch.

The day was arranged by Maldon District Council to provide positive activities for local young people.

SX Urban Games

25th July 2010

Today kicked off the first of the SX Urban Games events. This event was held in Central Park, Chelmsford with Team Kinetix taking over the event with our massive Parkour structure.

Team Kinetix ran Parkour, Free Running and Acrobatic workshops throughout the day.

As the first of the SX Urban Games we were happy with the weather, audience and number of our supporters that showed up to cheer on the main team and our students.

Melbourne Athletic Funday

11th July 2010

Team Kinetix are out in force again today at the Melbourne Athletic Funday in Essex. The team will be performing Parkour and Free Running demonstrations throughout the day and also putting on a special show featuring some of our up and coming talent in the main arena.

This will be the second performance that our young participants have ever done, and also to a much bigger audience than before.

School Parkour Day

8th July 2010

Today Brad Wendes and Suzi Appleton are off to South Oxney for another day of Parkour PE at Greenfields Primary School.

The Team Kinetix coaches will be running Parkour PE lessons for all year groups all day.

Meadgate Funday

4th July 2010

Today was the Meadgate Funday in Chelmsford with Team Kinetix Parkour coaches Suzi Appleton and Harry Murden running free workshops all afternoon.

God fun was had by all and a big shout out must go to some of our regular participants Liam Pilcher, Nathan Pilcher, Connor Faulkner, Brandon Parsons, Rebecca Murden and Sasha Harris who stepped up and put on a superb Parkour and Free Running demonstration for the crowds - their first public performance!

Well done guys, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of you in the future!

School Sports Week

28th June - 1st of July

This week is National School Sports week, so to help promote active lifestyles Team Kinetix are running a full day of PE in a different school each day this week.

Parkour Coaches Brad Wendes, Suzi Appleton and Harry Murden will be at the following schools in and around Watford running Parkour workshops all day every day:

Holy Rood Primary School, Woodhall School, Francis Coombe Academy and St Meryl School.

Team Kinetix at the Gilberd School

21st June 2010

Today Team Kinetix coaches Brad Wendes and Thanda Mutero have spent the day teaching students at the Gilberd School in Colchester.

Brad & Thanda have been teaching the fundamentals of Parkour and movement to year 8 and 9 boys at the school.

At the end of the day the group choreographed their own Parkour / movement sequence set to music.

Pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed the day and the lads developed a lot of confidence thorugh their movements.

Larks In The Parks

20th June 2010

Team Kinetix were out in force today.

Once again Team Kinetix are providing entertainment and workshops as part of the Larks in the Parks event run by Leisure Connection in Herftfordshire.

Today Team Kinetix coaches Brad Wendes, Suzi Appleton, Harry Murden, Luke Markey, Barry Haggis and Thanda Mutero ran workshops and demonstrations in three different park in St Albans that were free of charge to members of the local community.

The weather was beautiful and the activities were well received.

SHOKK Emirates Stadium

19th June 2010

Team Kinetix coaches Brad Wendes and Suzi Appleton joined up with the SHOKK crew at Emirates Stadium today for a day of fun free fitness for the community.

Brad, Suzi and the gang will be running free Parkour workshops, running SHOKK X-Treme classes and inviting passers-by to come and jump on the SHOKK dancemats.

The day was a massive success and we hope to run more events at Emirates Stadium in the future!

Half Term Sessions

2nd - 4th June 2010

It's the school holidays again and team Kinetix will be running free Parkour workshops around Chelmsford this week.

These sessions are run by Team Kinetix, Essex Police and the Chelmsford Partership to provide free, positive activities for young people in Chelmsford.

Sessions will be run at Meadgate Hall on the 2nd of June, Savernake Park (Westlands) on the 3rd of June and Melbourne Athletic on the 4th of June.

Sessions run from 1:00 - 4:00 and are completely free of charge.

New Weekly Class

23rd May 2010

This week Team Kinetix are starting a brand new weekly Parkour class at Melbourne Athletic in Chelmsford.

Classes run from 5:00 - 6:30 at the centre and are free to all Chelmsford residents.

Another busy day for Brad Wendes and Suzi Appleton!

The Team Kinetix Parkour coaches travelled to High Wickham in Buckinghamshire to host a day of Parkour in PE lessons at the William Ramsay Primary School.

Once again we had 100% participation and excellent feedback from staff and pupils.
